Deli clerk wins $1 million in lottery
The New York State Lottery announced today that a 23-year-old grocery store deli clerk from Wayne County won $1 million on a scratch off ticket.
Jasmine “Jazzy” Reynolds of Wolcott bought her winning ticket at the grocery store where she works, Bob’s Big M on Park Street in Wolcott, at the end of her shift on Oct. 19. Today lottery officials gave Reynolds her big check during a ceremony held at the store.
She will receive her winnings, which she scored on a Monopoly instant scratch-off game, in 20 annual payments of $50,000, according to lottery officials. Less required tax withholdings, her yearly net payment will be $34,075…
